COMING TO A WOODSBALL FIELD NEAR YOU!

Event Update:  Forthcoming & Reg. Opens Soon!

The WCPL is on track for the April 1st & 2nd Panhandle Paintball Classic taking place at Panhandle Paintball in Holt, FL and hosted by Dan Colby (Immortal Air) and Steve Preskill.

They've got an impressive event lined up for those attending, having recently shared images of their newly constructed Mounds field and the trophies and medallions that will be on hand for the winners and placers.

This event is fast approaching and you won't want to miss out:  Sign your team up at
PBLeagues.com.

Also fast approaching is Registration for the New York Classic that will take place at Paintball Sports NY and will be hosted by Jerry Braun and Kevin Donaldson.

Let me show you a simple little diagram that will help put this event in perspective:

Many of the same people, and certainly the ideals, that brought ground-breaking concepts, rules, officiating and much more to the tournament game almost from the very beginning are the same people bringing you WCPL events.

The New York version of which will be opening registration on PBLeagues.com on March 8th.

Here are some details about the event:

Three Ways  to Pay:

$1250 Entry Fee Only.  Paint at $45.00 per case

  Bring Your Own Paint:  $1500.00

Entry & Paint Special:  $2,000.00 includes 20 cases of paint.  Additional paint - $45.00 per case

The paint supplied by the event will be Valken Graffitti (or its equivalent)

THERE IS A HARD 36  TEAM CAP on this event.

A $200.00 entry fee deposit is required to hold a slot open
Teams must pay their
entry fee IN FULL no later than 5/10/23.  Teams failing to pay in full by the deadline will  give up their slot to a team on the waiting list.

This event will take place at the iconic and historic Paintball Sports NY field (home of Challenger!) and will be officiated by the Master Blasters team utilizing Radio Zone Judging (the paintball officiating method that revolutionized  tournament reffing!)

This event, needless to say,  will be an all Woodsball field event, featuring at least three different woodsball fields.  There will be no carnival games held at the event.

A bit of history with The Master Blasters and Radio Zone Judging

My team (Werewolves) was honored to be considered worthy of reffing events alongside the Master Blasters - and we were ALWAYS happy to play in an event they'd be officiating.

At one  NY Event we chose to compete in, my team asked me what out game plan would be.  I responded that we didn't need one.  When they asked why, II responded that our up-coming opponents were notorious for, well,  shading the rules and, with the 1-for-1 rule in effect, we'd just wait for them to penalize themselves off of the field.  The game started.  Less than ten minutes in, the other team had received 3 1-for-1 penalties, taking sixty percent of their players off the field.  It was an easy victory after that.

Good officiating is one thing.  Good, honest, fair reffing you can count on like that is an entirely different animal.  And that's what you'll be getting at the NY Classic.
